So, this year has flown by and it's been a productive and successful year for Performance Physique. We have taken on alot more athletes this year and our Trackside Athletics Academy has been at capacity since April! It's not all about business though, it's also about progress and continuing our professional development - there is certainly a lot of that to come.
I was kindly approached by an old colleague , Simon, who was studying his MSc Strength & Conditioning to come on board with Trackside Athletics Academy to develop his coaching skills and add some experience to our coaching team. Simon has been a fantastic asset to 2015 and we hope to extend and develop that in 2016.
In November I began my route back into formal education by commencing on the ISSN Diploma led by the well-reknowned Laurent Bannock and look to hopefully progress onto the MSc in Sports & Exercise Nutrition. We believe it is absolutely fundamental to never become stagnant and to always move forward. This investment is certainly to develop Performance Physique and the information we provide and as a result we have already begun relaying the information learnt form these lectures back into our own programmes and my lectures. This will only get better in 2016!
Finally, we've been quite quiet online over 2015 and that is due to the business growing and my time lecturing increasing. However, we are making a promise to gradually increase our online content and even look at some guest blogs. To start off with, we will be launching our next blog on the formidable runners issue, Shin Splints.
Merry Christmas & A Very Happy New Year!
